Just a quick note to inform those who are close to me(you know who you are)...I have accepted a job at MSD as their HS English teacher and will be moving in August. I am so very, very excited and will post more information once we get settled in! Hugs!!!
| Hello everyone! It's been a long time! Now you may ask (or not) what have we been up to these days? Nothing much--we are still in Santa Fe. (grr) God has been good to us and things have been going well for us. I am four weeks from completing my first year of teaching. It is hard to believe how fast time has flown and I have enjoyed it very much. Audrey is doing well in Georgia and loves it. She has decided to stay there and attend GSD next year while we are living here. Matilda is doing well--her dance recital happens in two weeks so she is ready for that! Cliff is doing fine--he is ready for break, but that does not happen until June 29th. I just found out that my sister will have another boy---yay! For those who know my family--it is Dyan, she is expecting her fourth and last baby. I am so excited! I have a question--I listen to a Christian radio station-- The other day the person who hosts a show said that those who are involved with the issue of Global Warming need to be careful because it is almost to the point of worshiping something that is not from God. I found this to be interesting--I recycle almost everything--I buy organic (most of the time) and I use cloth bags instead of paper or plastic (most of the time) does that mean I am becoming part of something that is not "holy?" He did say we should be stewards of God and he did create Earth and we should care for it, but not to an extreme. Tell me what you think. The topic for this week is being stewards to God--today he mentioned our minds...we need to be careful with what we put into our mouths and mind because it reflects us as Christians. The topic was Rosie O'Donnell...she is leaving the View and many were glad because of the anger she projects on the show and many pray for her because they know she must be filled with a lot of pain and anger to lash out at everything. That is the latest...will be back with more. This is my beautiful Audrey--- She was in the Miss JR GSD pageant and had a blast.
This is my beautiful Matilda--she is just like her Mama! Future cheerleader!
| May God bless you and your family in the year 2007. I am keeping him close to me this year...I have learned that God comes through for those who believe and trust in him. After what we have endured the past few weeks...I know now (even more) that I must talk to him and allow him to just show me the way. People do not realize that when you give it all to God and say it is your will and I will follow-he will take you exactly where you should go. So trust in him and follow him. All is well here! We are trying to adjusting to the normal and different routine once again--Audrey is in Georgia. (a decision that was hard and painful) but it in the best interest of Audrey. We will fly to Georgia on the 24th and then see her again in March then April so it will not be so bad! I admit I cried all day yesterday (after dropping her off at the airport). I mean she is my baby girl! Here is a picture of Audrey...I absolutely love it! The one with Matilda and Audrey was on the eve of Audrey's farewell dinner party. It was bittersweet for Audrey.
I will take my teacher's certification exam on the 20th so please pray for me! If pass, I will be a certified teacher in NM. I complete my courses this semester so that means no more school for awhile...whew! I hope to pursue my master's soon, though. We have received a lot of snow and the weather people say we should expect several more snow "storm" before spring--I am enjoying it! Here are some pictures to show how much... the one of Matilda...she was sitting on top of the snow. We had three feet of snow...she walked (tried to) and gave up after 5 minutes...came in said I cannot walk! haha Audrey stayed out longer but brrr it was cold! We enjoyed many fires in the fireplace and spent time playing games.
Can anyone explain how to keep my webpage private for those who are my friends? I am confused between private and protected. Thanks!
| This is from Matilda's recital! She had a blast!
Matilda is skipping to the music!
Matilda at close up!
Audrey doing homework (ahem) yeah right! It has been snowing since yesterday and we are loving it! It is supposed to snow this weekend...if that is the case then we will have a White Christmas! Ooooh La La! We hope to have our Christmas picture taken in the snow...what color should we wear? Black, Red, what??? I plan to take pictures of Audrey and Matilda alone and together--- so will send you pictures of that as well! I will be back soon with more information about what is going on in our lives!
| Last week we received some snow and oh! it was beautiful. We are expecting more snow tonight, but we will not receive much as the mountains (SF Ski Basin and Taos) will receive. Enjoy the pictures! (I will be back with pictures of our tree and Matilda's first birthday party! I just like family birthdays...I feel it is more personal and we are the ones who are glad our family members had been born...know what I mean?) Anyway, more to come!
The front of our house...
up the road from our house --see the mountain?
Matilda woke up and was all excited and I was getting ready for work...and she comes to me all dressed...I asked why? She said I want to go outside and play in the snow! So she did...it was brrr cold!
